Bhaiya please green light kar do...

Do you often find yoursef running late for a meeting or a party or perhaps
a movie, driving like a Ghost Rider only to find yourself getting
stuck at that crucial traffic signal simply because some bulb chooses to
go RED and not GREEN ??..If yes, then chance are that like everyone
else you might find yourself uttering curses and praying for those lights
to flip colours instantaneously( by magic perhaps), but then magic doesn't
happen right? and you end up sitting/waiting there feeling helpless and hapless..

As far as my answer to that is concerned, it would be an emphatic YES,
yes it happens quite often to me and so to say it happened today only
and that's why i am writing this..

What happend today was quite an unusual thing, unusual to the extent of being
unbelievable for some..

Scene 1: Rushing from greenpark at 7 Pm for PVR Saket(had a show at 7:10)

Scene 2: Waiting at IIT Redlight in a friend's car, telling them how these traffic
signals are manually controlled during peak traffic hours.

Enter a random thought: Someone tell that traffic policeman to turn the lights on our side green

Scene 3: I getting out of the car and running towards the traffic policman and...

"Bhaiya hum log movie ke show ke liye late ho rahe hain, please humari light ko green kar do".

In less than a split second that guy acknowledged my request and granted my wish. Wow..

Scene 4: I rushing back to our car and finding that the light has already changed its colour to Orange/Yellow/Amber.

Scene 5: Us crossing that red light and laughing our asses out thinking about what we just did :)

Well you don't really expect some one to ask for such a thing and moreover someone( a POLICEMAN at that) doing such a thing.

But then things happen when they ought to happen..

Trivia:

1) The social engineered traffic signal saved a couple of minutes and saw us reaching
almost on time for the show
2) I lost 85% of this post as i pressed some key and was not saving it while writing.
3) After this my comp mysteriously restarted twice, making me re-write few lines
4) All in all it took me more than 1.5 hours to write this post..GOSH
